Red-TE Homozygous Alleles of MdMYB10 Confer Full-Red Apple Fruit Skin in a High-Temperature Region

چکیده

Apple is a major fruit crop grown worldwide and provides humans with an essential diet health benefits. One of the benefits related to accumulation anthocyanin, which also attractive red colour. It known that MdMYB10 allele containing transposable element (TE) insertion in its promoter (termed Red-TE allele) underlies anthocyanin colouration skin cultivated apples. However, distribution this wider Malus germplasm accessions not clear. In study, we showed RNA was specifically expressed from by using allele-specific expression analysis transcriptome data. cultivars hybrids homozygous alleles stronger colour than those heterozygous after analysing 65 337 hybrids. Furthermore, both hetero- plants growing same high-temperature conditions had different colourations. detected 16 wild apple showing skin, indicating these apples conferred allele. These findings provide guidance for selecting able develop consistent under high growth temperature open opportunity identifying novel genetic variants underpinning species.

Red colouration in apple fruit is due to the activity of the MYB transcription factor, MdMYB10

Anthocyanin concentration is an important determinant of the colour of many fruits. In apple (Malus x domestica), centuries of breeding have produced numerous varieties in which levels of anthocyanin pigment vary widely and change in response to environmental and developmental stimuli. The apple fruit cortex is usually colourless, although germplasm does exist where the cortex is highly pigment...

Independence of color intensity variation in red flesh apples from the number of repeat units in promoter region of the MdMYB10 gene as an allele to MdMYB1 and MdMYBA

MdMYB10 gene expression results in accumulation of anthocyanin in many tissues including flesh of applefruit. The MdMYB1 and MdMYBA genes are close homologues to MdMYB10 gene and both are responsiblefor red color phenotype in apple fruit skin. In the current study, an apple genome sequence draft analysisindicated that these three genes are located in a unique contig. Further a...

computer simulation of bruise in red delicious variety of apple fruit

large sums of fruits are annually wasted due to mechanical damage and bruise inflicted upon them during harvesting, handling, storage and packaging. the research which has been done to analyze the mentioned processes mostly used practical operational techniques with the results being applicable in certain defined conditions. the aim of this research was to develop computer models for an optimiz...

Multivariate modeling of settling depth of apple fruit (Red Delicious variety) in water

Settling depth of apple was determined by a water column and a digital camera. The depth was experimentally modeled using multivariate regression using a coded program in MATLAB software. The best models were based on the density, dropping height volume/mass with coefficient of determination and mean square error of 0.90 and 4.08, respectively.

Red skin re-read

Although relatively rare, the symptom complex of intermittent acral warmth, pain, and erythema that defines erythromelalgia (EM) has been well documented in the medical literature for over 150 years (Graves, 1838). Despite an extended awareness of this phenomenon, the cause and underlying mechanisms have until recently been completely obscure. Part of the difficulty in understanding EM has been...
